​Mr. Hemant Rai: Standing with confidence

​

My name is Hemant Rai and I lost my left lower limb about 7 years back in  road traffic accident with my motor bike. The accident left my lower limb crushed and had to finally be amputated.  
  When I look back my early life, I was arrogant, irresponsible and disobedient person and addicted with drugs for 10 years. After the terrible escape from that accident, I couldn’t move around normally as other do and made me isolated from the society.
After that I was living with my brother in Ranchi, and they were always worried about me. One day my brother took me to a church and I felt peace and joy in my heart. And, I finally decided to follow Jesus Christ as my Savoir.
Since then, my life was changed totally and I came out of all my bad habits.  I was referred by one of my friends to The Leprosy Mission Hospital, Purulia for above artificial limb prosthesis. After successful fitting of the artificial limb on my left lower limb, I was able to stand and walk with out any support.
With God support and the newly fitted artificial limb I continue to do the God’s ministry and preach His words.
